Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. Competitions are not open to employees of Dog and Bone grooming or their immediate family.
  2. There is no cash alternative
  3. Entry is limited to uk residents only.
  4. Entry is limited to people over the age of 18 for insurance purposes.
  5. Prizes are not transferrable
  6. There is no cash equivalent
  7. For “Free Grooming for a year prize draw” the following applies:
  • Dogs must be of good behaviour, any aggressive behaviour will result in withdrawal of the prize
  • Dogs must attend monthly appointments Dog and Bone grooming will endeavour to offer a choice of appointments, but they may not be able to commit to a certain time and date.
  • At times grooms may be carried out be a level 3 Diploma student under qualified groomers supervision
  • The prize is for appointments at Either the salon in Newcastle Emlyn or Haverfordwest. All appointments must be at the same salon. Should either be closed, Dog and bone Grooming reserve the right to offer the appointment at an alternative location.
  • Any missed appointments without notification will result in the removal of the rest of the appointments
  • For dogs attending that have not been groomed for a period of time, Dog and Bone Grooming Reserve the right to take any remedial action in relation to coat care that is deemed necessary prior to the grooming session
  • Dog and Bone Grooming will treat all dogs with consideration to the Anima Welfare Act 2006
  • All appointments must be attended within 12 months of the date of the first appointment.
  • Appointments are only available Monday-Friday
  • The appointments will be for the same dog.

8. For Professional Groomers Prize Draw the following will apply

  • The prize is for registration and sufficient training to obtain the IPET level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management
  • Open to UK residents only
  • All entrants must be over the age of 18 hold a level 2 qualification or be able to evidence experience of dog grooming to a good professional standard
  • Should on initial assessment the winner of the draw is not to the required standard, the prize will be redrawn, after the winner has been offered any further required training at their own cost.
  • There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferrable
  • Whilst we endeavour to train you to the correct level, a Pass is NOT guaranteed as a part of this draw. The qualification is subject to assessment and the assessors, IQA and EQA descision is final
  • Any extra costs incurred in having to retake assessments are not included in the cost of this training
  • The winner must either attend one of our salons at Newcastle Emlyn or Haverfordwest for assessment. (It may be possible for arrangements to be made for an assessor to attend the winners salon.
  • The training and qualification must be completed within 12 months of the date of registration with IPET
  • Dog and Bone reserve the right to offer theory training by electronic means.
  • All training will be carried out to Dog and Bones usual standards and requirements and may be subject to interruption due to any unforeseen circumstances. In this event Dog and Bone will not be liable for any costs due to postponement.
  • Winners will be responsible for providing the dogs for their diaries( and assessments where carried out at their own salon)
